Product Review: Soft Touch Mousse Makeup, by Essence cosmetics

Product: soft touch mousse by essence_cosmetics

Coverage: light

Texture: matte powder finish

Stay: 7-8hrs if set with powder

Price: PKR 700

I got this one as a present for my graduation along with many other makeup products. This mousse has been my daily foundation/face makeup since then. I have been using this for over a month and I have felt absolutely no need to go back to my bb cream. Since I have acne prone, oily skin, I have to be very careful with what I put on my face. It did not break me out or clog my pores, which is a plus. The shade blends perfectly well with my summer tanned skin tone (shade is 02- matte beige). The texture is so smooth & finish is completely matte. I just dab a few dots on centre of my face and then just blend it out with my fingers to rest of my face. Any imperfections can be concealed with a concealer, because this is a light coverage product. I highly recommend this product if you just want to have a smooth, even toned skin without looking too caked up or want a product for everyday makeup which is light on your skin. 16g of product is great for this price since I literally use tiny winy bit and its enough on my face.

You should buy this product if: -you want a natural matte finish with light coverage – you need a face product for everyday use that doesn’t clog pores or makes you look caked up

– need a product which lasts long for the price you pay

-have mostly clear skin and want to wear minimal makeup just for that neat look.

Down side:

-doesn’t provide sun protection (no SPF) – light coverage so you might need concealer if you have blemishes or acne spots.

Will I buy this again:

Love & light
