Book Review: The Sun Is Also A Star, By Nicola Yoon

If you pull back far enough and wait for long enough, then order emerges; because everything looks like chaos up close.

The most beautiful and attractive book cover I have seen in a  while. This one is a very interesting insight into how our minds in today’s world work. Even after reading the whole book, I was unable to fathom what the title exactly means, but anyhow, I love the cover too much to over-think about the book title.

The story is of a Korean-American boy, Daniel, who wants to become a poet but is forced to aim to become a doctor and, Natasha, an illegal immigrant whose family moved from Jamaica when her aspiring-to-become-an-actor-someday father decided to try his luck in the land of opportunities. They collide like two stars and the big bang happens; the poet inside Daniel  decides to fall in love with wanna-be Data Scientist Natasha. Opposite attract,

If you don’t care about the plot & story, and just want to enjoy some beautiful words that may resonate with the lover inside you, this one is for you.

The wordplay in this book is absolutely beautiful. I have more than 20 favourite quotes from this book alone. The author has put great effort in writing a great piece of art, but just like most love stories in 2017,

Love is just chemicals and coincidence.
